Reaching for Jesus across Borders began in 1989 inspired by opportunities to help children opening up through the international travels of christian musician Randy Bouwer. Randy lives in Michigan with his wife and youngest daughter Madison. Education in music, drama, and art, led to a career in the arts and then God compelled him to missions.

In 1989 Randy was diagnosed with cancer on his vocal chords. The surgery left him silent for 25 days, but God intervened and healed him. He started singing again, and in 1991 recorded his 1st CD titled, "God Will Provide the Lamb". 5 more CD's followed. Randy performs in the USA and in several European countries.

Randy is Worship Director in his home church in Michigan.
